Quick post ...
He returns this week. I am not going to contact him though. It's not my place. If he returns to me, then he was always mine. If he does not, then I guess he was never mine. Only God knows ...
He has my cross, though, which I gave to him to keep during his assessment. It would be nice to have it back (lol) ...
In addition, I would like to know that he received my care package. Sure, UPS said it arrived in Fort Lewis, but who knows if he actually received it.
Edit: Well, I have given up now. Something tells me to stop pursuing him - whether it's a gut-instinct or God, I am not sure. Either way, though, I am focusing on Him. It's all about God.

i suggest you ignore the opinions and "spiritual" advice from people on here.... just keep seeking God... and know that some of us are just praying for you...

Words like "always" and "never" are dangerous, especially when applied to people. Make sure you're hearing from God. Blessings to you.

lis... God is big... don't pass up hope just yet... keep praying for him when he pops up... but if you're pursuing him rather than him pursuing you... that just strikes me w/ flags popping up all around... warning flags... which leaves me concerned on your behalf...
is he playing you? stringing you along? cuz you don't deserve that.... you deserve a guy who will value you to the point where he can't live w/o you... i've said it before... i'll say it again.... you are beautiful, amazing, and worth every bit as God has made you... you're a girl that a guy who sees this will not be able to live without... and i'm prayin for you...
all i know is when a man finds a wife, he finds a good thing... that word Good in that context is the same kind of good used to describe God... God IS GOOD... marriage is GOOD... take heart sistah gurl... you're worth waiting for, and you're worth dying for (the call of every man in marriage btw, to be a man is to live like Jesus and die for his wife and kids... something i'm so desiring to do...)

@leadworshipper82 - He is not playing me or even stringing me along. When I said pursue, I should have said that I have been keeping that desire alive. I do not actively pursue people, although my actions toward him may have been mistaken for that. I gave him my cross and sent him letters/a care package while he was away. Yet, that is who I am. I do that for everyone. I love sharing and writing notes and sending gifts to people because I just love people. He should know this though.

@mamma_sez - well... advice that takes it's cues from culture... or advice rooted in personal experience as the formula... or advice that won't use Scripture... or advice that is so ambiguous that it helps noone... those "advisments" i would suggest EVERYONE to ignore from ANYONE... not just Revelifers... Christianese advice in general... either way mamma_sez... i just didn't know what you were talking about...
@leadworshipper82 - I am sorry, I should have been more clear, you can call me Ria you know it is much shorter. I do agree with what you are saying though, we should all seek God and listen to his advice for our own lives.
